MISSION
In accomplishing our mission to promote and preserve Chinese and
Chinese-American history and culture through community outreach activities, CHCP
has restored and donated the 100-year-old Ng Shing
Gung to the City of San Jose, spearheaded restoration of San Jose's
historic parade dragon to serve as a goodwill ambassador, sponsors the
annual Chinese Festival attended by thousands of
celebrants each year, created Golden Legacy Curriculum
and HELP Grants for teachers, and provides exhibits for
community and industry programs. This site and the
Virtual Museum & Library are among CHCP's most recent projects.
