CHSA Year of the Snake New Year Celebration

The Chinese Historical Society of America (CHSA) is ringing in the Lunar New Year with a very special Year of the Snake celebration on Sunday, February 2, 2025. Admission will be free for all attendees during museum hours.

Join CHSA for a day of festivities that will feature arts and crafts, interactive games, cultural performances and demonstrations, complimentary snacks, and more during this community celebration with family and friends. Programming includes:

• Year of the Snake arts & crafts
• Frank Wong miniatures exhibit scavenger hunt
• Lion dance performance by Wong Gar Hung Keun
• Artist merchandise table (Lori Chinn)
• Traditional calligraphy demonstration with artist He Wen Tang (湯賀文)
• Community resources table featuring SF Planning

There will also be refreshments, fortune cookies, prizes, and giveaways, along with Year of the Snake red envelopes available.

Admission includes complimentary access to the We Are Bruce Lee, the Chinese in the Richmond, and Frank Wong miniatures exhibits.
