Please join History San José (HSJ) on Thursday, October 6, 2022, from 5:30-9:30 pm at History Park as they honor Rod Diridon, Sr. and open the new exhibit at the Trolley Barn: "Rod Diridon, Sr., A Lifetime of Public Service."
This year’s Fund-A-Need will go towards restoring History Park’s newest historic building, the 1869 Coyote Train Depot, one of the oldest train depots in the Santa Clara Valley. Not only will the depot enhance the transportation corner of History Park, it will also allow History San José to create school programs around the transportation history of the Valley and offer a new attraction to the over 100,000 visitors who currently attend their cultural events and engage in their hands-on experiences.
Please share History San José’s vision of preserving and celebrating the local history and help in honoring Rod by purchasing tickets or becoming an event sponsor for the 2022 Valley of Heart’s Delight fundraiser. Your contribution will help maintain History San José’s position as one of the leading cultural institutions in Northern California.
