Join the Chinese American Museum DC (CAMDC) on Wednesday, January 18, 2023, 3pm PT (6pm ET) to discuss the culturally rich philosophy of Taoism. The online program features a conversational explanation of this influential dogma that is neither religion or creed, rather a philosophy of perceiving and navigating life. From 6th Century China to modern day, Taoism has made an indelible mark on everything from art, medicine, politics, to cuisine. Taoism considers that nature, not people, shapes the universe.
Panelists include Dr. Xin Fan and Dr. Professor Adam Yuet Chau, professors of Asian Studies at Cambridge University, with moderator, David Uy, Executive Director of the Chinese American Museum DC.
