Please join the Chinese American Pioneer Heritage Committee as they host 2 days of extended cultural programming including talks and seminars on Chinese American community history and genealogy, walking tours of the historic old Marysville Chinatown, and visits to the Bok Kai Temple, Marysville Chinese School, and Chinese American Museum of Northern California.

There will be a host of family and children's programming for the weekend including exclusive screenings of Pixar's movie "Turning Red," which took design inspirations from Marysville's very own Bok Kai Temple. Special guest, Pixar Production Designer Rona Liu, will be joining them for a Q&A. Plus don't miss the premiere play "The Jade Rabbit," performed by the Red Phoenix Rising Children's Theatre from Stockton, CA.

Celebrate and re-connect at Saturday's Gala Dinner with performances by Purple Silk Great Wall Youth Orchestra. Dinner will be followed by fireworks and neon lion dancing.

On Sunday February 26, there will be a Gold Country field trip and a private tour of the Chico History Museum and the Chico Chinese Temple Exhibit, to learn more about the history of the Chinese in Chico, another historic Gold Rush era Chinatown near Marysville, before returning to celebrate Bomb Day.

Bring the family, bring the kids and grandkids -- reinvigorate the Bomb Day tradition and create new memories and traditions for the next generation!
