CAAMFest (thru May 21)

CAAM (Center for Asian American Media)  presents CAAMFest in May, the world’s largest showcase for new Asian American and Asian film, food, and music programs. Since 1982, the film festival has been an important launching point for Asian American independent filmmakers as well as a vital source for new Asian cinema.

CAAMFest screenings, receptions, and events will be held in San Francisco and Oakland, including venues in neighborhoods rich with Asian American history, such as San Francisco’s South of Market and Chinatown.
