CATS Artistic Challenge: Dr. Jerry Hiura Inspiration Award (thru Aug 15)

Established in 2021 by Contemporary Asian Theater Scene (CATS), the Dr. Jerry Hiura Inspiration Award is presented to Asian American & Pacific Islander (AAPI) students who best reflect Dr. Jerry’s passion for the arts.

AAPI applicants must be a current high school or college student in or from the Bay Area to participate.

Applicants must submit an application and finished project that addresses the artistic challenge, "I'd Like to Tell You Something..." - Messages to My Younger Self. Share the advice you wish you could have given yourself when you were younger.

Projects may be of any artistic discipline: film, theater, monologue, dance, visual arts, poetry, or any other artistic medium. Cash awards will be given to the winners.
