Chinese Performing Arts of America (CPAA)'s Asian Cultural Youth Club (AACYC) is hosting a Mid-Autumn Festival event on Saturday, September 30th from 4 to 6:30 pm, where you will see live performances, taste mooncakes, and create memories with loved ones.
A festival for gratitude, family bonding, a time for reflection, and cultural heritage, the Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Moon Festival, is a traditional holiday celebrated by various East Asian cultures, with a particular emphasis on Chinese communities. It has significant cultural and historical meanings and is a celebration of nature's rhythms, the harvest season, and the enduring value of unity among loved ones.
Enjoy lanterns, lantern making, and more than an hour of unique and professional art performances. There will also be mooncakes and milk tea, snacks, and drinks when you order your ticket through Panda Takeaway. More so, there will be raffle tickets. CPAA Art Center has also prepared exquisite Hanfu (classical Chinese clothing) while taking "Polaroid" photos.
