The San Diego Chinese Historical Museum (SDCHM) is partnering with the San Diego State University Chinese Cultural Center to produce this free Zoom lecture.

Founding President of the Sun Yat-Sen Hawaii Foundation and former Councilmember of Honolulu City, Leigh-Wai Doo, will give a presentation on the important historical role that Hawaii and its people played in the life of Dr. Sun Yat-Sen, the acknowledged Father of Modern China.

This panel discussion will also reveal other influential and important Chinese figures throughout the history of Hawaii.
