Filmmaker Susan Zhou and Carlin City resident Li Chin will screen Zhou's 2019 documentary, Going Home, for the San Diego Chinese Historical Musuem (SDCHM)'s free February 2025 edition of The Chinese American Experience & Beyond (TCAE&B) lecture.

The film follows the story of the discovery of coffin fragments containing Chinese railroad workers in Carlin, Nevada in 1996. The bones of the 13 Chinese workers were later sent to Reno, Las Vegas, and other places for research or tour exhibits. A group of city residents came together to advocate for the return of the Chinese ancestors to Carlin so they may be properly buried and memorialized. The film follows their story.
