An Orientation for CHCP's Student Docent Cultural Ambassador Program (SDCAP) will be held at History Park in San Jose. Come and contribute to preserving, educating and promoting Chinese and Chinese American history and culture!
The Orientation is on October 16 from 10:30 am to 3:30 pm, with lunch provided.
There will be a training manual with information about the Chinese American Historical Museum and History Park, specific information on each exhibit area, plus general information about Chinese religious and cultural practices.

Parking: Park for free on local streets or use the San Jose city parking lot on Phelan Avenue ($fee).
Directions: Exit Highway 280 at 10th St., then go south on 10th St., left on Keyes St., right on Senter Rd., left on Phelan Ave. History Park entrance is ahead on left; visitor parking lot ($fee) is straight ahead at end of Phelan Ave.
Bus: VTA Bus line 73 stops at Senter Rd. and Phelan Ave., half a block from the History Park entrance.
