Shortened versions of two videos will be shown continuously, by CHCP Director Brenda Wong:

  • Our Story of War and Remembrance: Chinese American WWII Veterans of the China-Burma-India Theatre
Stories of four Chinese American WWII veterans of the San Francisco Bay Area are featured in a moving documentary of patriotism as they served to defend the America that had denied them rights under the Chinese Exclusion Act of 1882. Documentary produced by CHCP's Student Docent Cultural Ambassador Program (SDCAP).
  • More than a Medal
Documentary of Robb Centre's Valor Medals Review Project, researching minority veterans from WWI who, in spite of valorous deeds, may have been unjustly denied awards due to race or religion. Documentary includes the San Jose/Saratoga native and decorated Chinese American WWI Veteran, Lau Sing Kee (aka Sing Lau Kee).
