Join the Oakland Asian Cultural Center (OACC) on Friday, January 26, 2024 at 7 PM for a film screening and discussion of The Six: The Untold Story of RMS Titanic’s Chinese Passengers.
The full-length documentary tells the story of the six Chinese seamen who survived the wreck of the Titanic and the search for what happened to them. The researchers in Toisan and elsewhere in China, England, Canada, and the US found some amazing information (and descendants) and it's a very compelling story.
Lead researcher Steven Schwankert from New Jersey and Grant Din, a member of the international research team, will be available to answer questions after the screening.
