Sat, July 20th, 11AM - 3PM @ Joice Street between Clay & Sacramento Sts.
The Chinese Historical Society of America (CHSA) and Cameron House are excited to bring back the family-oriented street festival uplifting the Chinatown community, culture, and creativity with a special celebration honoring the 51st anniversary of the legacy of Bruce Lee.
They are delighted to spotlight comic book artist Mark Bode, who created a very special Bruce Lee-inspired edition of the comic book Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. He will be performing a Bruce Lee-inspired art demonstration in commemoration of Bruce Lee and his influence on his artwork.
Also on hand will be the Mahjong Project, with informational and educational guides on the traditional Chinese game of mahjong. There will be tables and mahjong sets available for people to participate and play with community friends and neighbors!
A lion dance performance, additional games, and giveaways will be available for all ages.
Note that the CHSA museum will also have FREE admission throughout the entire day, 11 am to 4 pm.
Join the celebration of joy and community on Joice Street, between Clay and Sacramento Streets!
