CHCP has a special program for History San Jose's Women's Heritage Day at History Park.

CHCP will be "Celebrating the Contributions of Chinese Women," past and current, presented by CHCP's Student Docent and Cultural Ambassador Program (SDCAP) and author Russell Low, in the Chinese American Historical Museum (CAHM), 2nd Floor, at History Park.

12:00 - 1:10	CHCP's SDCAP will screen several short videos celebrating contributions and accomplishments of Chinese women from past and present. Two Bay Area women being celebrated are CHCP Advisory Board Member/Historian Connie Young Yu and author/journalist Iris Chang.	CAHM 2nd Floor
1:10 - 1:50	Author Russell Low will present and discuss his new book, "The Exceptional Life of Tye Leung Schulze," a true story about the first Chinese American woman to vote in a US election and to work for the federal government.	CAHM 2nd Floor
1:50 - 3:00	CHCP's SDCAP will re-screen the short videos celebrating contributions and accomplishments of Chinese women from past and present.	CAHM 2nd Floor
3:00 - 3:40	Russell Low will do a presentation on "Three Coins," his book that is based on the life of his great-grandmother, who overcame countless obstacles to make a life in America.	CAHM 2nd Floor
