The Great Star Theater is celebrating its 100th anniversary as the oldest Chinese theater in the U.S. The Great Star is a magical center of culture, art, and tradition in the heart of Chinatown. As the only remaining theater in San Francisco Chinatown, it offers a community space for live entertainment, film, private events, community celebrations, and workshops.
To keep this spirit alive, join celebrity guests Daniel Wu (吳彥祖) and Ben Fong-Torres as well as San Francisco Mayor Daniel Lurie as they come together in the heart of Chinatown to celebrate an institution that has touched so many lives for a century.
