Join History San Jose (HSJ) and the Chinese Historical and Cultural Project (CHCP) for a celebration of our diverse AANHPI community in the South Bay! Immerse yourself in a fun-filled day of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) culture through performances, cuisine, crafts, and discussions, as we come together to honor AANHPI heritage and strengthen community bonds. The festival is May 17th, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at History Park.
Our celebration of activities includes free Asian & Pacific Islander-centric games and crafts, community booths and vendors, food truck fare for purchase, boba tea for purchase at Pennylane Sweets and Treats in O’Brien’s, a panel discussion sponsored by the Japanese American Museum of San Jose, open exhibits at the Chinese American Historical Museum and the Viet Museum, and an array of cultural performances sponsored by History San José, Mosaic America, the Chinese Historical and Cultural Project, and the Viet Museum.
This event is designed for anyone eager to celebrate and learn about the vibrant cultures that make up the AANHPI community. Continue to check back here for updates on the full schedule.
