Join Chinese Performing Arts of America (CPAA) on Saturday, August 9, from 2:00 to 6:00 PM at the CPAA Arts Center for the Golden Spirit Festival—a vibrant, family-friendly outdoor celebration honoring the legacy of CPAA Founder Ann Woo. This free community event features a dynamic lineup of live cultural performances, guest artist showcases, and local vendors offering handcrafted goods, art, and delicious food.
A special highlight of the day is the unveiling of Ann Woo’s Augmented Reality (AR) monument, created by the Womanhood artist team—Arlene Biala, Frances Mendoza, and Jayann Bella. This monument is part of Journey Through Womanhood, a Santa Clara County initiative commissioning 100 women artists to create immersive AR artworks honoring women’s contributions across generations and communities.
