  • January 07, 2026
  • 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM
  • Online (via Zoom)

Rosemead is one of the most talked-about movies of this past month, garnering much acclaim across international film circuits with some critics calling it “a highlight of Lucy Liu's storied career” (Next Best Picture).

A harrowing and raw portrayal of a single mother's struggle with her son's mental health within the Chinese American community, join the Serica Initiative for the very first Serica Storytellers of 2026, joined by Rosemead producer Mynette Louie, lived-experience storyteller Lisa Oberholzer-Gee, and therapist Jeanie Y. Chang. This webinar will feature a clip from Rosemead and a timely conversation on AAPI mental health, caregiving, and the power of breaking silence.
