SFPL Film Screening: Chinatown

The San Francisco Public Library (SFPL) will host a screening of the 1995 film, "Chinatown," followed by a discussion with Director Felicia Lowe and San Francisco Poet Laureate Genny Lim.

"Chinatown" offers an intimate look at San Francisco's oldest neighborhood that thrives and survived isolation and racial and social injustice throughout its 160-year history. The film, which features the poetry of Genny Lim, received an Emmy Award for Best Cultural Documentary.
